Windows 10 22H2 Feature Update
The push is on from Microsoft for the final major feature update for Windows 10. Windows 10 22H2 will soon be a forced upgrade for all Windows 10 users. Microsoft is touting this update as the final major release for Windows 10.
This is signaling the beginning of the end for the 8-year-old operating system, released in 2015. This means that now is the best time to look at upgrading to Windows 11 if your PC meets the requirements or looking at a replacement if it does not.
What happens when an operating system, such as Windows 10, goes “End-of-Life”? This is the time that Microsoft stops sending updates to computers. This includes security patches which include some of the most primary security for your computer. Other software companies will also begin to stop supporting Windows 10, meaning that certain programs, printers, or devices you may use for your business may lose compatibility or service upgrades that are vital to your business.
Here at CyberTech360 we can help you go through your entire fleet of computers whether it be a single business PC or an entire office. We
can help you determine PC’s that can be upgraded, ones that need to be replaced and can help you get settled into Windows 11 if you have
never used it before. For those computers that do not meet the upgrade requirements, we can confirm you get the latest patches for Windows
10 while you still can and then find your business suitable replacements.
